Customers sync with Papierkram. Approved hours go there as a draft invoice per customer.

How it works

From your workday to Papierkram, without retyping.

You connect with an API key from Papierkram (Einstellungen › API). Also enter your account name from the web address: firma in https://firma.papierkram.de. Half5 then imports your customers and projects from Papierkram. Half5 checks Papierkram regularly for changes made there.

Approve the week

A manager approves or rejects each person's submitted hours. Managers see registered hours only, never anyone's timeline.

Invoice

You create the invoice from an hours report. It appears in Papierkram as a draft.

What moves across

What the Papierkram integration takes care of.

From an hours report you create draft invoices: one per customer, containing only billable hours that haven't been invoiced yet. If your organisation uses approval, only approved hours qualify. The draft appears in Papierkram.

Customers in sync
Customers sync both ways with Papierkram. A customer you add in Half5 appears there, and one from Papierkram can be booked on in Half5.
Projects
Projects sync both ways with Papierkram, so your team books hours on the same projects you use there.
VAT
Invoice lines carry a VAT rate that Papierkram accepts. Reverse-charge invoices are supported.
Sending
Send the invoice by email through Papierkram, or mark it as sent yourself.
Changes reach the draft
As long as the invoice is still a draft in Papierkram, changes you make in Half5 are passed on to it.
Hours are never billed twice
Hours on an invoice are locked to it. Delete a draft and you choose whether its hours become billable again.
